Pastor Asbury Lawton, originally from Greenville, SC  been in ministry several years. He has an undergraduate degree from Clemson University in English, A Masters degree in Business Administration from Southern Wesleyan University, and a Masters degree in Divinity with Pastoral focus from Liberty University and has served as Senior Pastor of Lawtonville Baptist Church since 2019. He was licensed and ordained in 2014 by Laurel Baptist Church and Forrestville Baptist Church in the upstate of SC conjointly. He has served in several positions in church settings, ranging from counselor, Sunday school teacher, to pastor of youth. He has served in ministry as far away as Mexico and Brazil in large and small settings. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley and two children (Quinn and Katie); reading; exercising; and watching sports and movies.
